This National Day weekend, check out Beatnique 2014 at Hoopla cafe. The two-day event brings together the best in craft, music, kendama and bikes. Highlights of the event include Stroom Fabriek made by Indonesian artist, Sari Sartje, as well as vinyl and bike swaps. For those with a competitive streak, take part in the various bike competitions – Beatnique Goldsprints and Criterium (details here). If you love to have your cake, eat it, and be rewarded for it, register to take part in the cake eating competition.
