The highly anticipated release of the Born x Raised SB Dunk Low is set for September 28 as announced on BornxRaised’s official Instagram account

The release was initially set for July 31. However, out of respect for the untimely passing of Chris “Spanto” Printup, co-founder of Born x Raised, Nike pulled the BornxRaised x Nike SB Collection from the Snkrs platform and halted the wider release of the sneaker.

Construction of BornxRaised x Nike SB Dunk Low

Based on the iconic SB Dunk Low silhouette, this collaboration delivers a vibrant color scheme that matches fresh white, blue and holographic hits. The pristine white shade adorns the shoe’s tongues, quarter panels, and toe boxes, while a striking blue hue takes center stage on the overlays. Departing from the usual dotted perforations, the toe boxes feature distinctive cross-shaped patterns, while the classic heel overlays and lateral Swooshes receive a holographic upgrade alongside the “Born SB” branding.

The renowned BornxRaised motto, “One Block at a Time,” graces both the tongues and toe tips of the sneaker, and a heartfelt touch is added with the inclusion of “In Loving Memory” on the laces. Making a bold statement, the phrase “On the Turf” is prominently displayed in 3D block lettering on the heels. Additionally, the sneaker boasts jeweled upper eyelets, holographic accents on the medial Swooshes, and eye-catching pink embroidered emblems on the heel counters.
