Famed movie director Wes Craven, who helmed iconic horror flicks such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream and The Hills Have Eyes, passed away on Sunday at the age of 76.
Fellow horror filmmakers and Hollywood celebrities have since gone onto social media to honor the man, whose flair for scares created unforgettable characters like Freddy Krueger and Ghostface.
