Concepts’ take on the Air Max 1 is something like you’ve never seen before. In a recent leak post by @kangofmemphis, it seems like the brands are have linked up to release two versions of the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1.
Their Air Max 1 is a patchwork of colors, patterns and textures. The shoe features a denim upper, bovine fur, bandana prints and a tri-color embroidered swoosh. With so much happening on one shoe, the midsoles and outsoles are kept neutral to balance out the colorful look. The shoe is topped with a tag in the shape of a guitar pick, and is engraved with the Concepts logo. There are also velvet shoelaces to switch to – if you’re feeling fancy.
Together, Concepts and Nike have been behind some of the most popular collaborations such as the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Purple Lobster and Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High which was inspired by a duck.
