According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, images of the upcoming collaboration were first released by Instagram user @sheekswinalways.
The series utilizes the vintage inspired Chuck Taylor 70 silhouette instead of the more common Chuck Taylor All Star model. The collaborative shoes will come in two base colors: black or white, each with a shoe tongue in a contrasting color, i.e., white shoe base with a black shoe tongue, and vice versa on the other colorway.
Other than the use of contrasting colors on the shoe tongue, the collaboration sneaker leaves the shoe’s original design mostly intact. The only other addition is the inclusion of Essentials branding to the heel of the shoe.
No definite release dates have been announced as yet. But according to an Instagram post by Jerry Lorenzo, it seems the shoes will drop sometime during the Fall 2018.
