Footwear drops: Kanye West slides in with the perfect pair for staying indoors

This week’s footwear drops roundup features must-cop drops with the Yeezy Slide Resin top on the list.

Adidas, Nike, and New Balance take the spotlight with a strong lineup of releases and we’ve picked out the best ones you can cop.

It’s a good week to keep track of the footwear drop calendar. Across the board, there are plenty of releases to look forward to with End Launches readying raffle entries for 20 releases just this week alone. But we’re here to point you towards the must-cop drops of the week and the Yeezy Slide Resin is definitely one of them. Making up the remaining list is yet another Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorway, along with a Nike SB Dunk Low release and New Balance’s collaboration with Casablanca. Scroll down for all the details you need to cop this week’s top footwear drops.

Yeezy Slide Resin
April 16

Kanye West’s Yeezy line is famous for its minimal style. This time, the label is stripping it down even further with the release of the monochromatic Yeezy Slide Resin. Yeezy’s ever-expanding lineup of footwear now includes slides that are perhaps just as comfortable as its Boost technology-laden sneakers. Made out of EVA foams, the slides also feature a molded footbed that just about confirms its level of comfort. With almost every part of the world on lockdown and everyone encouraged to stay indoors, the release of the Yeezy Slide Resin couldn’t have come at a better time. If you’re not digging the colorway, Adidas will be dropping these in two other colorways too – earth brown and bone. If you also have little ones in tow, then you’re in luck. The slides will be available in kids and infant sizes as well.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Muslin
April 17

You better believe that the Dunk Lows are making a comeback this year. While the game might not be able to reach the level of its heyday, there’s still reason to get excited over the consistent drops recently. This week, the Nike SB Dunk Low will be getting another round of colorway updates in the form of a light cream suede upper and rusty brown midsole. Dubbed “Muslin”, the colorway sits atop an updated version of the silhouette – the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro. You can expect improved comfort thanks to the Zoom Air unit in the heel and its most standout feature, the signature fat tongue.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Linen
April 18

Another Yeezy makes it on the list and it’s none other than the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Kanye West could well cement his signature sneaker as a classic in decades to come, not unlike Jordan brand’s well-established lineup. The formula seems obvious by now with only colorway updates for the much-loved silhouette and the “Linen” drop happens to be the next one on the cards. You’ll find the familiar neutral hues wrapping the uppers with a contrasting blue side stripe and inner lining. If you’re not done yet with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, then these are undoubtedly a must-cop.
