Earlier this year, eagle-eyed fans of Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara might have noticed the Japanese designer sporting a unique pair of Jordan 3 sneakers on a press run in Hong Kong. It was then reported that the shoes were none other than the Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3 Retro sample. Now, sneakers app GOAT has come to the rescue by offering detailed shots of this coveted sample.
The Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3 sneaker takes cues from its past Air Jordan 1 collaboration. The white tumbled leather uppers are complemented with hues of royal blue and black on the midsole, ankle collar, and heel. Other features include a tooling code right above the air bubble as well as the signature Fragment logo debossed on the lateral heel. The pair also stays true to its roots with the original Nike Air branding on the heel.
Unfortunately, to the dismay of sneakerheads, Hiroshi Fujiwara has stated that there are no plans to release this sample.
