Scroll through streetwear legend Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Instagram and you will notice that he has been rocking one pair of shoes a lot recently. Well, now we know it’s from a collaboration between Fujiwara’s own label, Fragment Design, and English footwear brand Dr. Martens. The two fashion heavyweights have united to unveil the Hollingborn Derby – a sleeker version of the classic Dr. Martens 1461 model. The first thing that stands out is the shoes’ shiny jet-black outlook that is achieved using patent leather. Even Dr. Martens’ signature yellow stitching on its mid-sole has been replaced with black stitching to maintain the shoe’s all-black design.
The shoes are recognizable as a Fragment Design product thanks to the brand’s iconic lightning logo. The Hollingborn Derby subtly features the Fragment logo on the outer heel panel – in a similar fashion to the coveted Air Jordan 1 Fragment sneakers.
Stand a chance to purchase this pair of shoes for S$345 by entering the draw on End Launches. The draw ends on May 24.
