Hiroshi Fujiwara, the man at the helm of Fragment Designs, has come out on Instagram to comment about the sneaker. He claims he has never seen the sneaker, which thickens the plot. Is this shoe for real? Only time will tell. Stick around for updates.
The Fragment x Air Jordan 1 that released in 2014 is one of the most sought-after Jordans ever. The 2014 release came in a Royal Blue colorway version of the OG Black Toe, but the the ones rumored to drop in 2019 look to pay homage to the OG colorway. Thanks to notable sneaker insider, Hanzuying, we get a first look at the possible colorway to be released next year.
Inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ colors, the sneaker will come with red on the back panels, with white and black on the front panels. The biggest difference between the Fragment Black Toe and the OG Black toe is the white tongue instead of the black, which takes precedence from the recent retro of the Black Toe in 2016 and 2013. Of course the iconic (and very expensive) Fragment Design logo stamp can be found on the heel.
Sample pairs have already been made, but these photos may not necessarily be the final product. The Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Black Toe is rumored to release in 2019.
