Dropping a week ahead of schedule, the Air Jordan 11 “72-10” pays homage to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bull’s record-breaking season two decades ago.
Jordan Brand always has a couple of tricks up its sleeve during the festive season, and this year is no different. The Air Jordan 11, one of the most iconic Jordan silhouettes that also holds bragging rights for being the first to feature patent leather in an athletic shoe, has been resurrected yet again for this weekend’s release.
The “72-10” colorway pays tribute to the NBA’s 1995-96 season, where the Chicago Bulls had a record-breaking 72 regular-season game wins. Premium tumbled leather and microfiber suede create a timeless look for the Air Jordan 11 “72-10”, while tumbled patent leather provides an iridescent sheen all around the shoe.
A clear outsole complements the red and black carbon fiber shank plate found beneath the sneaker, and the Jumpman logo on the heel comes in metallic red. An inscription of Jordan’s achievements from that particular season can be found on the inner tongue lining, giving wearers a gentle reminder of what greatness is, every time they lace up the kicks.
Available in adult and kid sizes, the Air Jordan 11 “72-10” will be sold at Limited Edt and Nike Kuala Lumpur Stores (Mid Valley Megamall and Suria KLCC) on December 12th. This shoe is expected to sell fast, and Limited Edt has outlined a couple of methods to cop them, as you can see below. Good luck!
