“Kung-Fu sample heavy, this tune by Drum & Bass legend Doc Scott is legendary and a favorite when I first started DJing. Built around a simple two-step break, what sets it apart is the gargantuan bassline that has to be heard to be believed. 19 years on, this remains an essential DJ tool.”

“Drum & Bass supergroup Bad Company has fashioned many a great tune. This, however, is their mightiest and best-known productions. Listen to the clip and you’ll see why this track was named one of the greatest Drum & Bass tracks of all time.”

“Ruffhouse is a new outfit specializing in deep, minimal neurofunk – this track is a standout and still causes major damage on dancefloors. Not surprising, just check out those thumping beats and that heaving bassline. An outfit to watch.”

“The vinyl version was only limited to 500 copies and cost me a small fortune to track down. This track remains a fixture in all my sets: An obvious nod to soundtrack composers Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter, this is extremely groovy and a delight from start to finish.”

“Another track that never leaves my playlist. Formerly one half of Instra:mental, Kid Drama (aka Damon Kirkham, who also does techno as Jon Convex) shows a more ferocious side here – ditching the half-step Autonomic vibes in favour of techno influenced dancefloor number. Essential peak time DJ tool, this is.”
