Jordan Brand Unveils the Air Jordan 1 “Wings”

The Air Jordan 1 “Wings” pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s astonishing comeback during the 1985-86 NBA season.

The Air Jordan 1 “Wings” was designed to promote “self-belief to help conquer seemingly impossible challenges”. It also inspires youths to “believe in themselves and promotes the importance of education around the globe”.

The sneakers feature the use of black leather with an aged copper finish. Individual numbering can also be found on the inside of the tongue.

Other unique features include translucent outsoles featuring the word “WINGS” and gold-plated heel tabs of Michael’s wingspan.

The Jordan 1 “Wings” will go on sale from May 17 at select retailers and on Nike.com for US$200 (approx. S$280).
