As if dealing with Yeezy Boost wasn’t enough, the release of these Tubulars will certainly spell doom for a sneakerhead’s wallet.
Adidas Consortium is on a year-long quest to highlight innovative new products and produce exciting partnerships with top-tier industry names, hence its latest collaboration with Ronnie Fieg, owner of Kith.
The Kith x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom uses the new silhouette that first appeared at Paris Fashion Week, and taking a closer peek at the shoes, it’s easy to see why the Tubular Doom is such a looker. It features a neat Primeknit upper that extends past the ankles, eliminating the need for socks. The ribbed midsole adds sleek lines that make the sneaker “pop” as well.
Fieg chose to dress the Tubular Doom in shades of grey, unlike his crazy mix of colors for the “Homage”, and adds his signature “Just Us” and “RF” slogans to the heel and tongue tab respectively, to show that this isn’t any other general release. Priced at US$165, the Kith x adidas Consortium Tubular Doom is set to drop at KithNYC on January 23rd.
