In yesterday’s season opener of True Detective, a pair of King James’ kicks got stolen, which led to Colin Farrell’s troubled cop character dishing out due punishment to the perpetrator.
Last night’s season premiere of True Detective showed us exactly what dire consequences await sneaker thieves. Struggling cop Ray Velcoro, played by Colin Farrell, gave a brutal beatdown to a man whose son stole and wrecked a pair of LeBrons belonging to Velcoro’s son.
“The f*cking LeBrons or whatever” was how Farrell’s character referred to the sneakers, and his anger was apparent as he donned brass knuckles in the one-sided assault. “You ever bully or hurt anybody again, I’ll come back and buttf*ck your father with your mom’s headless corpse on this goddamn lawn,” he cautioned the kid, who probably crapped his pants upon hearing that.
