The Skateboard that Lasts Six Times Longer than the Average Deck

Lithe skateboards are touted to last an average of six times longer than the usual deck.

The Lithe skateboard deck is said to provide a consistent feel and can maintain its structure even after hours of abuse at the skate park.

Made in USA and constructed from maple, but with carbon fiber inlays for reduced weight and improved strength, the deck also contains bright green hybrid polymer tip-fills at both ends to prevent chipping, de-lamination and the dreaded “razor tail” damage.

Performance wise, the Lithe skateboard deck is made to be more responsive and precise than a standard maple deck. It has a greater “pop” for tricks like Ollies and Kickflips, but retains the flex that comes with standard decks.

Supporters of this crowdfunded project will have five board sizes to choose from, each with its own unique characteristics, such as concave levels and wheelbase.

At US$169 a piece, the Lithe skateboard deck is pricier than most others in the market, but it could very well be worth the investment.

The deck won’t be available in time for the NS23 film screening, but you can show it off from February 2017 onwards, when fulfillment and delivery are expected to take place.
