The unusual collaboration was first announced on Sunday, November 5 on Instagram. The cryptic Instagram video featured a sneaker silhouette and the words, “Coming 2018”.
The cosmetics brand also posted a somewhat cryptic caption: “Your favorite hues take a big step in a whole new direction! Stay tuned for a kickin’ collaboration, coming soon. #PUMAxMAC #ForAllTime @Puma @PumaSportStyle”.
Some Twitter users speculate that the collab will feature sneakers inspired by MAC’s iconic lip colors.
While other sources such as Allure speculate that the collab will focus on a range of fitness inspired makeup such as sweat-proof foundation, which sounds a little far-fetched.
However, it is likely that the collaboration will have something to do with the Puma Suede shoes. A quick look at the Instagram hashtag #ForAllTime revealed that the sportswear brand often used the hashtag when featuring the Puma Suedes on Instagram (image below).
Details are scarce at the moment, thus we will have to wait for either brand to reveal more information about the collab.
