More Muji to love.
According to Today, the store will be its largest outlet in Singapore spanning over 1,896 square meters.
The flagship store will house Singapore’s third Cafe & Meal Muji outlet as well as Open Muji, a space for educational activities like workshops and exhibitions.
The cafe will be able to host up to 70 diners. Two flagship exclusive meals, pork katsu donburi and cheese baked butter curry chicken rice will be part of the menu, reports Channel News Asia.
Other exclusive store offerings include new product lines such as IDEE, Found Muji, and Muji Labo.
IDEE is a collaborative line with Japanese design store, Idee. The collection will include a variety of accessories and decor items, inspired by artists such as Lisa Larson.
Found Muji will include a range of everyday items sourced from all over the world and repurposed to fit the store’s minimalist aesthetic. Previous offerings include items such as enamelware from France and curry bowls from India.
Muji Labo will sell a range of minimalist garments for both men and women. The experimental clothing line was first launched earlier in Spring/Summer 2017.
Much like its Japanese counterparts, the flagship store will also have styling advisers on hand.
Sounds like IKEA will be facing some competition!
The flagship store will be located at #01-10 to #01-17, Plaza Singapura (68 Orchard Rd, 238839). The store will be open from 10am to 10pm daily.
