The Air Max 720 is Nike’s latest Air Max shoe. It has not yet hit stores, but already the brand is touting it to be one of the most comfortable sneakers ever made.
Like its older sibling, the Air Max 270, the 720 will come with a similar Air bag, but one that has been redesigned to become a full-length Air unit. The Air unit on the 720 is the tallest that Nike has made yet, and this serves to maximize the comfort and bounce of the sneaker.
From the teaser photos, we can see that there is a back pull tab with the swoosh logo and the numbers “720” on the heel of the shoe. There also seems to be these panels of a different material on the back and the outer midfoot portion of the shoe.
The name 720 is derived from the idea of the Air unit being visible in 360 degrees, both horizontally and vertically. The design of the new Air Max 720 is inspired by the movement of energy through natural wonders. To show its commitment to sustainability, 75% of the Nike Air Max 720 is made of recycled manufacturing waste.
No official release date has been announced yet, but that these will drop on Air Max Day 2019 (takes place March 26 annually) is probably a good guess. For more information about the Air Max 720, visit Nike.
