“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”: The Death Star Explained

With the release of the latest Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer, fans now know the story behind the infamous Death Star’s creation.

Based on the short teaser clip for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, it’s apparent that protagonist Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is joining the Rebel’s cause in a bid to find her missing father, the man who helped to build the Death Star.

The rest of the trailer shows some rich cinematic landscapes mixed with futuristic spacecraft, explosions, hand-to-hand combat (courtesy of Donnie Yen) and best of all, a cutscene of Darth Vader marching in anger.

Lack of lightsaber action notwithstanding, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is shaping up to be an awesome blockbuster to wrap up the year. The movie premieres on  December 16^th, giving you plenty of time from now till then to catch up on every other Star Wars movie to date.
