Nike Air Force 1 Low “Preserved Icons”

Nike pays homage to USA’s spirit of independence with the iconic Air Force 1 that comes in a 2-in-1 colorway inspired by another icon, the Statue of Liberty.

While the United States celebrates Independence Day every July 4th, Nike gives the rest of the world a reason to cheer as well with a lineup of sneakers inspired by USA itself. This year, Nike is set to release the iconic Air Force 1 Low in a “Preserved Icons” colorway that mirrors the nation’s ability to stand the test of time.

For this particular drop, Nike took cues from the Statue of Liberty and dressed the upper in a copper-colored coat, which naturally fades to the shade of greenish-blue of Liberty, placing emphasis on the attributes of preservation and strength. The torch of the nation’s iconic symbol of freedom is used as lace locks and the insoles are decked with stars, both of which add a special and touch to this patriotic piece.
