The Air Jordan 3 White Cement will now drop next Tuesday, April 10, instead of the previously reported April 7. The sneaker is expected to retail at S$279 on Nike.com. Do check back on Straatosphere for further updates.
These highly sought-after sneakers were sold out instantaneously when they were released earlier in February. But if you missed out on that drop, Nike’s giving you a second chance to cop this Saturday, April 7.
The Air Jordan 3 White Cement “Free Throw Line”, released as part of the AJ3’s 30th anniversary, is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s iconic flight in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, where he was seen wearing the shoes with the same white upper and cement detailing.
The translucent sole comes with a red stripe to mark the spot on which Michael Jordan treaded – located on the free throw line – before his iconic liftoff. The number “147” on the inside of the tongue is an homage to Jordan’s total points tally in the contest.
If you love all things Jordan and are a sucker for nostalgia, be sure to cop the Nike Air Jordan 3 White Cement when it drops this Saturday, April 7, on Nike.com. Retail price of the sneaker has not yet been revealed.
