Nike releases the Air Max Lunar90 and Air Max 90 Jacquard, two unique versions of its famous Air Max 90 for Spring ’14.
Nike has been known to produce innovative footwear, as exemplified in the unique midsole cushioning system found on its Air Max lineup. This Spring, Nike has released two new versions of the Air Max 90 with innovative features added to the popular silhouette.
The new Air Max Lunar90 features Lunarlon cushioning that evenly distributes the force of impact. The upper is seamless, having received a no-sew treatment that increases flexibility and breathability. Lastly, a compression-molded collar allows for supreme comfort.
Old is gold when it comes to the Air Max 90 Jacquard, utilizing the traditional jacquard weaving process that weaves four colored yarns through a black base. This gives Nike designers control over which colors to adorn the surface. The process allows for multiple layers of weaved patterns, meaning that traditional patterns and overlays are replaced by a single piece of fabric. Consequently, the shoe is lighter and more flexible, allowing better natural movement.
The Nike Air Max Lunar90 and Air Max 90 Jacquard retails at Nike Orchard and Nike @ Bugis Junction for S$219 and S$239, respectively.
