Nike was prepared for Kevin Durant to win the NBA finals.
The commemorative Nike Airforce 1 comes with metallic gold details and premium black-cork options. Available in high, mid, low models, they are also customizable via NikeiD.
Other products in the collection include the Nike Zoom KDX, and printed t-shirts with the phrases “Debate This” and “Did It For The Bay” to celebrate Kevin Durant’s NBA championship victory.
Besides the collection, Nike also dropped a new commercial focused entirely on Durant.
Titled “Debate This.”, it shows critics blasting Durant throughout his basketball career. Calling him “soft”, “traitor”, “weak”, and “cupcake”, they were finally silenced after Durant helped the Warriors win the championship in the deciding Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
