The collection is inspired by sportswomen and their accomplishments, and each shoe in the pack carries statements of strength and speed.
Nike’s efforts to support and celebrate female athletes across all sports started in 1984. That year, Joan Benoit Samuelson completed the first women’s marathon at the Summer Olympics, signalling a major shift in mindsets and the inclusion of women into the long-distance sport.
Women athletes have come a long way. Today, women are at the forefront of many other sporting feats, whether in mixed martial arts, tennis or soccer.
The Premium leather line of the Nike Beautiful X Powerful Collection will be available on October 6th via the SNKRS app, Nike Store (Shaw and Paragon), Seek (Ion Orchard), Limited Edt and Pedder on Scotts. The jacquard woven line will be launched on December 1st.
