Nike pays homage to Cristiano Ronaldo with a pair of custom-made boots.
The custom boot draws inspiration from the Portugal national team colors with a bright red FlyKnit construction upper and sock collar.
In addition, it also sports a golden soleplate and a unique heel counter to further celebrate Ronaldo’s national pride and achievements.
With Ronaldo’s popularity, the “CR7 Mercurial Campeões” could easily be a best-seller for the brand. Unfortunately, Nike created the boots “specifically for the world’s best player” and they are not available for retail.
Ronaldo will be debuting his custom boots at the upcoming 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. It takes place from June 17 to July 2 this year and serves as a prelude to the World Cup held 2018.
