The One Piece Pad is exactly as it name implies: it’s a composite foam bra cup – just the one that supports both breasts instead of having two individual bra cups.
The One Piece Pad has good form without being overly padded and can easily be slotted into or removed from the sports bra from a nifty top pocket.
Once removed, the top pocket can function as storage for keys, cards and other small items to free your hands from while you go about crushing your fitness goals.
At the moment, you’ll find the One Piece Pad only in the Nike Swoosh sports bra series. That alone comes in four variations, each in multiple colorways.
They all come in the medium support variety, which means they have thicker straps in racerback style to accommodate a wider range of movement. We have found that the medium support sports bras from Nike are snug and supportive enough for training and HIIT workouts, as well as for running.
In most sports bras, even those from Nike that are not of the One Piece Pad variety, the pads are removable, but often only from stingy slits in the sides of the sports bra.
Once the sports bra comes out of the wash, inserting the pad back into the bra and adjusting them till they sit right is a sport all on its own. At times, we’ve wondered how we haven’t sustained a fractured finger from all that hard work.
Which is what makes the Nike One Piece Pad sports bra so great. A small improvement that makes all the difference. Of all the sports bras in our closet, we find ourselves reaching for the One Piece Pad one over and over again.
The Nike One Piece Pad sports bras are available at Nike store and on Nike.com.
