On June 26th, Pestle & Mortar Clothing, a Kuala Lumpur-based streetwear label, threw a preview party for its Crossing Borders summer collection at its store at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar.
About 100 people showed up to the event, including Bryan Chin, editor of Masses; Zoe Ng, writer for Tongue in Chic; Alicia Amin, one of KL’s leading runway models; Meliha Faisal, local singer/songwriter; and Ana Lucia Aguila, international model and founder of Zenith Models Management.
Established in 2010 by three friends who wanted to see their t-shirt designs materialize, Pestle & Mortar Clothing is today a full fledged streetwear label.
