Puma collaborates with Motorola to introduce the new RS-X Tech sneaker

Peep the upcoming Puma x Motorola RS-X Tech collaboration sneaker.

The collaboration sneaker will debut together with a non-collaboration pair on May 4.

The German sportswear giants’ latest collaboration evokes a rush of nostalgia. Set to release on May 4, the upcoming Puma x Motorola RS-X Tech adds to an already impressive list of collaborations with old-school tastemakers such as Sega, Roland, and Polaroid, among others.

The non-collaboration pair (pictured on the right in the image above) will debut in a Vapourous Gray colorway. The collaboration sneaker, on the other hand, features semblances of Motorola’s iconic phone designs from the 80s and 90s, to the early 2000s. Among those features are textures on the outer sole reminiscent of a mobile phone’s keypad, the legendary “hellomoto” on the side of the sneaker and the unmistakable Motorola logo on the heel. It also comes in a futuristic Puma Silver colorway and dark blue overlays that speaks of the silhouette’s reinvention of tech in the sneaker world.

It doesn’t just stop at the Puma x Motorola RS-X Tech sneakers, as the collaboration will also include an apparel collection launching on May 4 as well. Prices range from S$75 to S$180.
