Razer Blade Pro Packs Desktop Power into a Laptop

You’d be hard-pressed to find a gaming laptop that trumps the new Razer Blade Pro.

Packing all the features that a gamer could ask for, the new Razer Blade Pro laptop is a redesigned wonder that shouldn’t be trifled with.

For starters, it’s powered by the 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor and the top-of-the-line Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics card. These lend desktop-class performance that shows up brilliantly on the 17.3-inch 4K IGZO display. Anyone who’s into VR will be pleased to know that this laptop also supports VR gaming headsets.

Razer’s swapped out the membrane keyboard for an ultra-low-profile mechanical equivalent, with the addition of a trackpad and Chroma custom lighting to this powerhouse machine.

At the heart of the Razer Blade Pro is a custom cooling design with vapor chamber tech that keeps the hardware from frying when gaming gets intense.

Desktop-replacement laptops are hefty beasts to carry around, and admittedly, Razer’s newest laptop, which tips the scales at 3.54kg, weighs half a kilo more than its predecessor. A small trade-off, considering that its overall dimensions remain similar to the old Blade Pro.

Priced from US$3,699 onwards, the new Razer Blade Pro gaming laptop will be available this November.
