Razer Music Launches with deadmau5 and Other Electronic Musicians on Board

Razer launches Razer Music, its portal that works with producers and creators for sharing of music content, trade secrets and tips on digital music production and performance.

Razer Music will be updated regularly with content from a “world-class roster” of electronic musicians and producers. The site will feature video tutorials and articles about music production and the innovation used in the process of creation. Information such as artist bios and tour dates can also be found on the site.

One of the most noteworthy artists who has joined the initial ranks of Razer Music is deadmau5, best known for his intricate music production and signature mau5head. Other electronic musicians and producers who have joined the pack are Feed Me (or, Spor), an electro producer; Metro Boomin, a hip-hop producer known for his work with Future, Drake, Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj; and Dyro, a Dutch house producer.

While Razer Blade was designed for gamers, Razer realized many producers were also gamers who used their Razer systems for their music productions, which prompted Razer Music.

“Artists and DJs from all over the world have connected with me to discuss producing on the Razer Blade,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “The power and portable form factor of our systems offers artists the performance they need, whether in the studio, on the road or onstage.”

The Razer Music portal is launched alongside the announcement of an enhancement of the Razer Blade laptops, which is that all 2015 Blade models now come standard with FL Studio Producer Edition. The enhancement is a result of a collaboration with Image-Line.
