Nacon and Razer Reveal New Controllers for the PS4

Gamers can gain that all-important competitive edge with the Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution, two new aftermarket controllers for the PlayStation 4.

Designed specially for eSports tournaments, both Razer and Nacon controllers work out-of-the-box with any version of Sony’s PlayStation4.

Though the controllers share similar form factors and detachable 3m-long USB cables, there are distinct differences in button layout and features.

Razer Raiju

The Razer Raiju comes with two extra bumpers and detachable triggers, a built-in control panel, trigger-stop switches and hair trigger mode, a 3.5mm headset jack and mic control buttons, detachable analog stick rubber caps and room for two custom profiles that are interchangeable.

Nacon Revolution

Not to be outdone, the Nacon Revolution holds its own with 46° amplitude dual analogue sticks, four extra shortcut buttons, an eight-way directional pad, two internal compartments with six additional weights and four custom profiles.

It’s hard to say which is a better performer, considering gamers have their own preferences. Pricing has yet to be confirmed, but both controllers will be available this holiday season.
