Reebok and Adidas sent shockwaves through social media and the sneaker world following the announcement of their collaboration in September. Few will disagree about the iconic status of Reebok’s Instapump Fury silhouette. The sneaker may have made its debut 25 years ago, but its ultra-futuristic design still makes it worthy of a place among groundbreaking modern sneakers of this era. Fused with Adidas’ revolutionary Boost cushioning technology which was first introduced in the Ultraboost, we have an exciting collaboration that will surely go down in sneaker history as one of the most unexpected and inventive.

An ode to the groundbreaking beginnings of each innovation, the Reebok x Adidas Instapump Fury Boost will be released in two OG colorways. The Citron Yellow colorway is a nod to the Instapump Fury’s debut color scheme. The black/purple iteration, on the other hand, is a tribute to the first-ever Ultraboost. Besides the Boost-infused midsoles, the collaboration sneaker features co-branded details that are more indicative of the rare partnership than a lack of ideas. “Pump x Boost” can be seen embroidered on the heel while a band-like taping wrapped around the midfoot features both Reebok and Adidas’ logos throughout.
