For its commemorative anniversary sneaker, clothing label WHIZ LIMITED turned to its own collection for inspiration and came up with a head-turning masterpiece.
Streetwear label WHIZ LIMITED celebrates its 14-year anniversary by partnering with fellow Japanese retailer mita sneakers and German footwear maker Puma to produce a pair of sneakers worthy of commemoration. Puma’s XT2 runner was chosen as the silhouette, with WHIZ’s Spring/Summer ’14 collection used to provide color and tonal inspiration.
As a result, the WHIZ LIMITED x mita sneakers x Puma XT2 sees an upper composed of Puma’s signature Formstrip in a vivid sky blue, contrasted by deep red and blues on the mesh. Suede overlays offer a premium feel, while thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elements on the shoe remind one of the XT2’s heritage as a performance shoe. Even the tiny details matter, and wearers will be glad to see the stamped logos of the three collaborating brands on the sneaker insoles.
The WHIZ LIMITED x mita sneakers x Puma XT2 retails for S$199 and will be available at Limited Edt Chamber, Limited Edt Vault 313@Somerset, Leftfoot Cineleisure and Leftfoot Entrepot from August 23rd onwards.
