Rip Curl’s “Artist of ‘The Search'” campaign comes to Singapore, following a successful run in Bangkok, Bali and Jakarta.
Whether you’re a skateboarder, illustrator, DJ or photographer, Rip Curl invites you to showcase your interpretation of “The Search”, its movement that goes beyond surf into an exploration of other sub-cultures.
The open-call submission format means artists can flex their creative muscles and produce their most stunning work, be it a street photography series, a never-seen-before skate move or a music-fest worthy remix.
The reward for best artwork submission is a trip for two to Hong Kong to attend Art Basel 2017, and the opportunity to work with Rip Curl on a clothing collection.
More details of this campaign will be revealed at a launch party, held at Kult Kafe on June 17th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Guests can expect live graffiti, a photo-exhibition by BELLY surf magazine, and music from DJs William J and Nez, along with pop quartet Disco Hue.
