“For this shot, I wanted to feature the pigeon logo, a significant icon for most of Staple’s designs,” said Janz

1. Where was this picture taken?
This picture was taken at Bukit Panjang, Singapore. They actually opened a new extension to the park, which I really like.

2. What equipment did you use to capture this shot?
I don’t use any expensive, high-end camera. The picture was taken using a mirrorless Samsung NX camera with a 45mm f/1.8 lens. As for editing, I usually use Photoshop or Lightroom on my Mac but for this picture, I used a Lightroom app.

3. Any tips on getting the perfect shot?
It all boils down to your inspiration. I’ll usually browse Instagram and Facebook for inspiration before conceptualizing my shot. The location selected also plays an important part. Additionally, your mood matters – in my opinion, you have to feel good to do something well.

1. Where was this picture taken?
Biopolis, Buona Vista in Singapore.

2. What equipment did you use to capture this shot?
I used a Nikon D7100 and a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 prime lens. As for editing, we used the Snapseed app – which did the trick.

3. Any tips on getting the perfect sneaker shot?
The best advice I can give is that it takes time to produce a perfect shot, you just have to keep trying and continue working with what you love best.

Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, USA.

2. What equipment did you use to capture this shot?
I used a Sony A6300 with a Sigma 19mm f/2.8 lens.

3. Any tips on getting the perfect sneaker shot?
I don’t really have any. This picture was a semi-accident! I was configuring my camera settings for a sunset shot when I noticed my sneakers in the frame.

Accentuate your pictures by using bokeh. Tapered pants and cool socks can also add character to your sneaker shots.
