Sonic the Hedgehog Turns 26, Celebrate by Walking a Mile in His Shoes

Sonic’s iconic red footwear is now up for sale. Super speed not included.

In celebration of Sonic’s 26^th birthday, Sega and Japanese shoe brand Anippon have created red sneakers modeled after the hedgehog’s footwear.

The red leather slip-ons feature an embroidered heel branding with matching white straps and midsole.

Besides the sneakers, Sega is also selling other commemorative items, such as keychains, coin pouch, and t-shirts.
