Spotify’s New Show “Traffic Jams” is “Carpool Karaoke” for Hip-Hop Producers

Find out just how talented your favorite hip-hop artists and producers are in Spotify’s latest original series, Traffic Jams.

Traffic Jams is Spotify’s first original video series. Each episode pairs a hip-hop artist with a producer, and both must compose an original song in an SUV.

Once the song’s done, both must perform it in front of a live audience immediately. According to CNET, the SUV will be driven up onstage, and both the artist and producer will be handed microphones as soon as they get out of the car.

Traffic Jams will be hosted by comedian DoBoy, who also serves as the driver of the vehicle. The premiere episode featuring T-Pain and producer Southside airs Tuesday, April 4, and new episodes will be released on a weekly basis.

Traffic Jams will be available on both Spotify mobile and desktop. The series will go live under the browse tab in “videos” on mobile, and under the browse tab’s “Genres & Moods” section on desktop.
