50 Cent’s latest album, Animal Ambition, is his first release that’s not under Interscope Records, the label he’s been with for 12 years. Not to worry though, the rapper has gone on record to say that despite being with another label, his relationship with fellow rappers Eminem and Dr. Dre remains strong, leaving the door open for future collaborations. You might want to get your hands on Animal Ambition fast since Fiddy’s next album Street King Immortal is set to drop in the next three months.

English rock band Kasabian has lost none of their energy even after two decades in the business. Despite touring guitarist Jay Mehler leaving the band for Liam Gallagher’s band Beady Eye last year, Kasabian still has what it takes to produce a rock-solid album. Credits go to the band’s guitarist and vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, who wrote and produced the album. Oh, and the album’s title 48:13 is named after the running time, in case you were wondering.

Linkin Park: The Hunting Party
Scheduled release: 17 June

[perfect_quotes id=”18607″]

Linkin Park needs no introduction really, but for the curious few living under a rock, this is the band that took the world by storm in the early noughties with hits such as In the End and Numb. They’ve come a long way and have kept up with the times, hitting new rock sub-genres in accordance to the audiences’ taste. Just listen to the single Until It’s Gone. While it’s reminiscent of what made the band popular back in the day, it’s got a bit of something new to keep new and old fans going.

Lana Del Rey: Ultraviolence
Scheduled release: 17 June

[perfect_quotes id=”18609″]

Known for her unique chamber pop musical style, Lana Del Rey’s latest and third album is as real as it gets, with Del Rey’s signature rich vocals providing depth to the lyrics and making her stand out against a sea of pop singers. Much of what you’ll be listening to can be credited to Dan Auerbatch, frontman of The Black Keys. A good decision, we say. Del Rey has come a long way from that first SNL performance and with so much good going on for her, you can’t help but wonder if her fascination with 27 Club and dying young is a publicity stint or, in her honest opinion, the only portal out of a truly pained existence.

1. Cruel World
2. Ultraviolence
3. Shades of Cool
4. Brooklyn Baby
5. West Coast
6. Sad Girl
7. Pretty When You Cry

Ed Sheeran: x
Scheduled release: 23 June

[perfect_quotes id=”18595″]

From playing at open mic nights to being the opening act at Taylor Swift’s The Red Tour last year, Ed Sheeran’s road to success has been nothing short of phenomenal and unconventional. We’re glad the English crooner’s talent didn’t go to waste and instead impressed people like legendary artiste Elton John and Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx, both of whom paved the way for Sheeran. Not letting all of this get into his head, Sheeran’s newest album contains upbeat tracks that retain his strong vocals and simple guitar acoustics.

1. One
2. I’m a Mess
3. Sing
4. Don’t
5. Nina
6. Photograph
7. Bloodstream
8. Tenerife Sea
9. Runaway
10. The Man
11. Thinking Out Loud
12. Afire Love
