Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin has been making headlines lately, thanks to his “conscious uncoupling” from wife of 10 years Gwyneth Paltrow. Little surprise then, that the band’s latest album is inspired by the couple’s separation. Even before Martin made the reveal in an interview, many listeners who’ve heard the lead single Magic deduced that the song described his feelings toward Paltrow.
