In February 2013, Adidas introduced Boost, a new midsole cushioning technology created to address the need for high energy return.
Boost is a lightweight foam made up of tiny foam balls called “energy capsules” which are fused together to form a midsole. The Boost cushioning system gives its wearer an incredible amount of bounce.
Adidas Energy Boost is the first model to debut the Boost technology. Due to the “bounce” factor, we’re expecting Adidas to incorporate this technology into their basketball line soon. Perhaps, this is just the sort of boost D. Rose needs?
