Prepare yourself for a music extravaganza on November 1st when Sub-Sonic Live returns with its ninth gig.
Fred Perry is back with its ninth Sub-Sonic Live, and this time the live performance event will occupy an enormous 30,000 sq. ft. space on Whitley Road that’s normally used for futsal. The ground will be divided into three live performance areas, each with its own distinct musical style that ranges from acoustic to post-rock and disco.
Sub-Sonic Live features a special lineup of acts curated by Jeremy Lee, the man behind music advocators The Diarists. The lineup includes homegrown talents such as post-progressive outfit ANECHOIS, precocious singer-songwriter These Brittle Bones, collaborative outfit sub:shaman and HORNS, as well as folk pop pixie Hilary Yang.
Also making their debuts are New York chamber pop act Ra Ra Riot and Malaysian electro quintet ENTERPRISE. Vinyl appreciators #vinyloftheday will be present to showcase the myriad of music styles produced by the humble vintage format.
The event also features art installations by Samantha Lo. You could even have a go at a game of UV Ping Pong. Chivas, Absolut and Heineken will also be on hand to fuel the party.
