The Weeknd’s Short Film, Mania, Features Hot Girls and Fast Cars

The Weeknd’s upcoming 18-track LP, “Starboy”, drops November 25th. Till then, enjoy Mania, a short film that promotes the drop.

The Weeknd has released a short film titled Mania, which picks up from where the “Starboy” music video left off.

The 12-minute clip, directed by Grant Singer (The Weeknd’s go-to music video guy), features the singer cruising down a hill, with cuts of a panther interwoven between. He then ends up in a nightclub, where he catches the attention of a girl (Victoria Secret model Anais Mali) in the crowd. The story picks up from there, ending in bloodshed and some awkward grooving at the end.

It’s a classic The Weeknd video with snippets of his previous music like “All I Know”, “Party Monster”, and his latest Daft Punk assisted-release, “I Feel It Coming”, making up the backing track for this visual.

The full Starboy LP drops November 25th. Till then, enjoy Mania below.
