The Timberland 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection marks the brand’s 40 years in the business of boot making.
This year, Timberland celebrates 40 years of boot making by introducing the Timberland 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection which features three iconic styles that have withstood tests for durability and the test of time.
To mark the milestone year in which the iconic yellow boot “The Timberland” was introduced, only 1,973 pairs of each style in the Timberland 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection will be produced globally, with each pair tagged with a limited edition issue number on the inside tongue.
Timberland Super 6”
The Timberland Classic 6” Premium Boot – the style icon popularly known as “the yellow boot” – is the inspiration for this 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection design. Tougher than its muse, the Super 6” boasts added features such as a GoreTex membrane for waterproof protection, a Vibram outsole for superior traction and 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation for warmth while a sleek white collar offers a fresh perspective on the classic. Timberland® World Hiker (originally issued in 1994)
Adding heritage style and serious outdoor performance to the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection is the Timberland World Hiker. Developed with expert Italian boot makers in Montebelluna, Italy, the World Hiker was built with intense focus on a perfect fit and extreme comfort; necessary qualities for taking on the majestic European Alps.
Tougher than ever, the World Hiker features the original Italian-made Vibram outsole and heavy duty Buckram waterproof premium leathers for durability and comfort, a full 3-layer contoured footbed, last and outsole tooling for excellent traction and breathable 100% recycled PET mesh lining. Timberland® Super Boot (originally issued in 1979)
Inspired by Alaska’s rugged terrain, the Timberland Super Boot is designed with fierce competition in mind – in fact, it first earned credentials in the 1987 Annual Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race where it withstood the harsh climates and rigors of a long distance racing competition in the Alaskan wilderness.
Certain to be a hit with serious collectors, the Super Boot provides comfort and durability with heavy duty Highway Waterproof leathers, an original Italian-made Vibram lug outsole and a 100% breathable recycled PET mesh lining.
