Twitter’s latest update states that links, photos and usernames won’t be counted towards the 140 character limit. Yay, more space for emo lyrics!
With today’s update, the changes to the character limit have begun rolling out to some users. While the limit is still capped at 140 characters, any text that contains links and media attachments won’t be counted, enabling you to include various links at one go with enough characters left to express yourself.
We look forward for more changes from the social media platform. Here’s to hoping that the next one won’t be in 2017.
