Uniqlo UT collaborations with BTS and Pokemon launch this month

Get ready for another round of hyped releases from Uniqlo UT, starting with the Uniqlo x BTS BT21 collaboration this week.

The collaboration with K-pop sensation BTS will drop this Friday, June 21. But it doesn’t stop there – a series of Pokemon designs is set to launch on June 24.

The popularity of Uniqlo UT is undeniable at this stage. Fresh off another well-received Kaws collaboration, the Japanese clothing company’s t-shirt range has lined up two more hotly anticipated collections this month. First up is the unprecedented Uniqlo x BTS BT21 collection, which will be followed by the launch of the Pokemon designs from this year’s Uniqlo Grand Prix competition. K-pop sensation BTS has swept the world off its feet with their synchronized dance moves and chart-topping albums, leaving fans thirsting for all kinds of BTS-related merch. Uniqlo gives the people what they want with this t-shirt collaboration, teaming up with Line Friends to use BT21 – eight lovable cartoon characters dreamed up by BTS – in the designs. The t-shirt range comprises 11 designs across 12 colors, retailing at S$14.90 each. Customers can only purchase one piece per design and color. But for the diehard BTS Army, that also means you can cop up to 12 pieces from this collection.

Uniqlo UTGP 2019 Pokemon Series
June 24

Pokemon was the theme of Uniqlo’s annual UT Grand Prix t-shirt design competition this year. From 18,000 entries, Uniqlo UT has selected 22 designs, which will launch next Monday, June 24. Gear up for unique designs from across the world featuring your favorite characters such as Pikachu, Gengar and Marowak, among others. The kids’ collection will retail for S$9.90 each, while the adult t-shirts go for S$14.90 apiece.
