The upcoming Vans x Disney pack is designed by Mister Cartoon, Taka Hayashi, and others

The Vans x Disney collection – the second collaboration between both brands – is created to commemorate the 90th year since Mickey Mouse was first introduced.

Update: October 3, 12pm (Singapore Time)

Check out official images (above) of the shoes that are dropping as part of the Vans x Disney collab. The collection will include footwear as well as apparel and accessories.

The Vans x Disney collab will be available in Singapore on October 5 at Vans outlets. The outlets at Ion and Vivo City will have the full collection, while the outlets at Bugis+, Raffles City, Tampines 1, Jurong Point and Jem will carry select models. Items from the collection are priced between S$59 and S$159.

The pack comprises the OG Sk8-Hi Lx in four colorways, each featuring vintage Mickey inspired illustrations.

Interestingly, the designs, apparently vintage inspired, are not derived from the Disney archives. Instead, they were created in partnership with artists including graphic designer John Van Hamersveld, tattoo artist Mister Cartoon, illustrator Geoff McFetridge, and designer Taka Hayashi (source). The shoe designs center on Mickey, and each artist has put his own twist on Disney’s most-loved character.
