According to a representative from Vans Singapore, the collaboration will not be available in Singapore.
However, we will keep updating this page with more information on the exciting collab.
The Vans Sk8-Hi will come in two colorways: all-black or red/black. Additionally, both The North Face and Vans’ branding can be seen on the heels of the shoes.
Unlike its Sk8-Hi sibling, the Old Skool silhouettes will sport lighter colors: white/black and yellow/black. Dual branding can also be seen on its heels much like the Sk8-Hi.
In addition, Reddit users speculate that the shoes will come insulated with a layer of fleece and added insulation on its toebox and uppers.
The collection also consists of three coach jacket designs as well as the Base Camp Duffel bags in three colors (yellow, red, and black). The jackets feature dual logo branding on its chest, with the words “off the wall” and “never stop exploring” echoing both Vans and The North Face’s mottos (image below).
This isn’t the first time Vans and The North Face are collaborating. The two brands previously worked on a release back in October 2015.
Currently, the collection has only been confirmed for a release in Shanghai, China on Friday, November 3. But one Redditor claims that the Vans x The North Face collection will also be available at PacSun stores on the same date. The user claims that he spotted it on the store’s drop calendar.
It looks like we’ll have to wait for more information on this one. As always, check back with Straatosphere for more updates.
