Besides the similar construction, the copycat sneaker also mimicked the mixed-material upper, the shoe’s colored patches, as well as its stacked sole.
Other features of the sneaker include a pull tab on the heel, adjustable laces, and 100% cotton lined insoles.
Selling at US$35 (approx. S$47), the Multi-Piece sneaker is considerably cheaper than the Triple S, which retails at US$795 (approx. S$1,064).
This isn’t the first time that Zara has been caught copying. The fast fashion brand was previously accused of ripping off Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer.
