This week’s mix features some fresh tracks from Shermanology, Grizzle Grind Crew and Mac Miller, as well as unexpected favorites from Frank Ocean and Oscillian. Grab your earphones and tune in now.
Dutch siblings Andy and Dorothy Sherman, collectively known as Shermanology, are back with a new track that goes back to the roots of the U.K. garage scene. “Movin’ Too Fast” is a remix of Artful Dodger’s track of the same name, and with the backing of music label Armada Music, the duo have reworked the vocals and turned it into an addictive house tune with hints of funk and soul.
The boys from Grizzle Grind Crew (GGC) are back with their third single of the year. With Lineath on production and Charles Enero spitting fire over the bars alongside fellow GGC member Tosh Rock, “Cool With It” is definitely one for the summer nights.
Check out this colorful Rex Arrow-directed video for Mac Miller and Anderson .Paak’s latest collaboration, and watch the guys lose their ladies as the song goes on. This track has got plenty of groove and the guys have lots of moves, so don’t miss out on it.
We’ve all heard about Frank Ocean’s high-anticipated comeback that’s finally happening this Friday and thought a throwback was in order. “American Wedding” was one of the songs released prior to his debut album, Channel Orange, but that doesn’t make it sound any less polished. Controversy surrounding the track’s sampling aside, we’re just really in it for the last 49 seconds of the song, which on its own, sounds like a whole new track altogether.
Fans of the Netflix-produced show Stranger Things will totally dig this track. With the original score slated for public release by Netflix, y’all can get hyped up by looping this and getting lost in the spooky synths.
