Bape and Neighborhood’s collaboration sneakers with Adidas get a wider release this week

The Adidas Originals x Bape x Neighborhood NMD STLT and POD S-3.1 launch April 19.

Triple Threat: The Adidas Originals, Bape and Neighborhood team up yet again for another collaboration.

For many fans, it has been a long wait since the exclusive release earlier this year.

Hong Kong and Japan may have had first dibs on the Adidas Originals x Bape x Neighborhood collaboration sneakers, but our patience has paid off. We’re finally getting a wider release. The sneaker collection features two of Adidas’ newer silhouettes – the NMD STLT and POD S-3.1. The good news is you won’t have to wait much longer, as these will drop in Singapore and worldwide this Friday, April 19.

The collaboration features Adidas Originals’ newer sneakers – The NMD STLT (left) and POD S-3.1.

The NMD STLT comes in a predominantly black upper featuring taping patterns – a signature of the silhouette. The collaboration branding is clear from the large texts on the lace cover which spells NBHD and BAPE, in addition to the Japanese characters. Yellow streaks on the sneaker’s side panels are the only hints of color on this minimalistic sneaker, which also features black EVA plugs and the signature white Boost midsole.

For the POD S-3.1, on the other hand, Bape’s signature camo graphics dominate the uppers in a split black and white layout. This is where things get wild: aside from the brand names on the fabric lace eyelet panels, the design takes a step further by integrating both Bape’s iconic Ape head and Neighborhood’s skull-and-crossbones logo into the camo print. What’s more, the revered Shark Face motif also makes an appearance on the sneaker’s lateral sides to complete the collaboration.

Truly a collaboration not to miss out on. You can cop the Adidas Originals x Bape x Neighborhood collaboration sneakers when they launch this Friday, April 19 on adidas.com.sg. Both pairs will retail at S$320.
